I know that a lot of communities have been effected by Hurricane Florence. While the winds have passed the water and flooding is still a concern in the river flood planes. My school district – Horry County Schools – is located in the Northern-most Coastal county in South Carolina and is only now feeling the worst of the inland flooding. I have several students and colleagues that are now in their 2nd week of displacement. Me and my family evacuated for the immediate storm and had some minor flooding but we love further South in Georgetown county and are now back to normal.
